1st NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Part -Time Contract Management Specialist to join our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL supporting the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Contracting the Contract Management Specialist negotiates, administers, extends, and terminates provider contracts to ensure we meet and exceed quality and financial goals.
They develop strong relationships with the providers affiliated with our network, in order to achieve network growth and cost targets.
This position is remote; but, will require coming to the office at times.

Position
Responsibilities:
Ability to build and maintain physician and hospital networks, which includes negotiating reimbursement rates, cold calling, and contract language review.
Ability to effectively interact and present information regarding services to practice administrators, physicians and executives.
Ability to work independently, and effectively, and multi-task in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
Must exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
Must have excellent written, verbal, negotiating, and interpersonal skills, be customer-service oriented and have the ability to problem solve.
Position Requirements:
High School diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Basic understanding of Medicare Parts A and B reimbursement preferred.
3
years of healthcare experience required.
1 year of negotiation/sales experience required.
1
years of experience in interpreting, managing and editing a wide range of contracts preferred.
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail.
Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to travel 10-15%.
Remote work allowed (after training).
